At Sinai Health, we care, create possibilities and offer hope. We are looking for an experienced Senior Buyer to support our Sourcing and Procurement department.
Job Outline:
The Sr. Buyer, Sourcing & Procurement, is responsible for the coordination and purchase of goods and services, including sourcing and contracting duties for small commercial work and buying projects, and in accordance with the Broader Public Sector (BPS) Procurement Guidelines.
- Sources and contracts for small commercial procurement initiatives, in accordance with the BPS Guidelines
- In consultation with SH Procurement Leadership and in accordance with the BPS, the incumbent will conduct sourcing, negotiation and contracting for low to mid-level goods and services.
- The incumbent will also assist the Contract Specialists with high-level and complex tenders and contract negotiations
- Supports preparation and evaluations of RFPs on capital goods, supplies and services according to the BPS Directives. Support analytics activities, develop procurement documentation including scoring criteria, analysis of responses to RFP, RFI, RFQs
- Assists with special procurement or process related projects as required and participates in hospital committees as requested and required
