To support us on our journey, Bridgepoint Active Healthcare is looking for a Regular Part Time Registered Dietitian (0.5 FTE.) to support the Central Nutrition Department
Job Outline:
Reporting to the Manager, Academic Practice, Health Disciplines, the Registered Dietitian is responsible for providing comprehensive nutritional assessment and implementing evidence-based nutritional care for patients. The Registered Dietitian works in collaboration with the Interprofessional team to provide comprehensive patient care and education to support patient transition.
Education & Qualifications:
• Baccalaureate degree from an accredited Foods and Nutrition Program or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited dietetic internship or equivalent
• Must be a member in good standing with the College of Dietitians of Ontario
• Membership with the Dietitians of Canada preferred
• Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience working in a hospital setting preferred
• Possess good communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of an Interprofessional team
• Computer proficiency and familiar with food service specific software such as CBORD, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel
• Excellent punctuality and attendance work history
